Painting & Illustration
Isabella Brown
Isabella begins with a frame someone else once loved, a chipped edge, a worn corner, something already carrying a story. Inside it she sculpts drywall compound, then paints over it in watercolor and gouache. What looks like damage becomes structure. What looks limited becomes possible.
Every piece is finished in a high gloss varnish, giving it that dreamy, almost glowing sheen while keeping the work protected for years
to come.
