Molly Mugler
Molly Mugler is a primarily self-taught artist who has been painting for more than 40 years. Working from her home in Cushing, Maine, she is inspired by the natural world around her—particularly Maine’s coast, shifting light and shadow, texture, and negative space.
Primarily working in watercolor, with oils and other media, Molly captures both what she sees and, increasingly, what she feels. Her paintings often begin with a fleeting spark—a shadow, line, color, or texture that demands to be noticed and transformed into art.
Her work is represented by Art Space Gallery in Rockland and can be found on Instagram at @mollymuglerart.
