Linda Cunningham
Linda Cunningham is a Midcoast Maine photographer based in Owls Head, inspired by the coast, working waterfronts, wildlife, birds, and the changing light of Maine. The daughter of a lobsterman, Linda grew up around the ocean and even lobstered herself during high school.
Her love of photography began in her teens with her grandfather’s old Argus camera and a high school photography class. Today, she is often out before dawn, capturing sunrises, lighthouses, boats, wildlife, and the quiet beauty of Maine’s coast.
Linda’s work reflects her deep connection to the place she calls home and her belief that there is beauty everywhere. Her photographs have been recognized in regional photography competitions, including Down East magazine and the Maine Island Trail Association.
