Sculpture & Woodwork
Mark Christopher
A self-taught artist, Mark began carving birds at age 15 after discovering woodworking in high school. A lifelong fascination with wildlife led him to compete in wildfowl carving exhibitions while pursuing a career as a wildlife biologist.
Over the years, his work expanded to stone sculpture and, eventually, oil painting. Today, he creates bird carvings, sculpture, and atmospheric landscapes inspired by nature, exploring texture, color, and mood across different mediums. After nearly two decades focused on family and career, he has returned to art with renewed enthusiasm and a desire to create work that connects viewers with the natural world.
