Sculpture & Woodwork
Stephanie Crossman
Stephanie creates delicate, three-dimensional sculptures using traditional knotted netting, an ancient fiber technique similar to lace-making. She learned the craft more than 30 years ago from her husband’s great-grandmother and began experimenting with miniature netting after discovering a tiny handmade needle among her tools.
Inspired by sea life, flowers, insects, and birds, Stephanie transforms this little-known traditional craft into intricate works of art. Each piece is handmade and one of a kind, reflecting her fascination with nature, craftsmanship, and the quiet beauty of the smallest details.
