Deborah Leigh creates wearable art that brings together silk and wool in a process known as Nuno felting. Her pieces begin with a foundation of gauze silk fabric layered with fine merino wool as well as other natural fibers. Each one-of-a-kind piece is created in her studio in Midcoast Maine.
